Molly Mack

Molly Mack is an artist based in Dorset. She uses a combination of analogue and digital methods to create a unique visual signature.

Whilst completing her foundation diploma in art and design, she mastered many different traditional print methods including screen print, drypoint and letterpress. She became fascinated with visual communication, going on to study illustration at university. Her final year project titled ‘Circus-The Peoples Art Form.’ was shortlisted for the Design District award at the New Designers Exhibition in London. During her time studying, she mastered Procreate and begun her journey of combining traditional drawing methods with a more modernised style of digital art.

More recently her work has been exhibited in Carnaby Street, London, at Sophie Tea’s ‘Brewing’ gallery. Molly’s work always retained a grainy, raw and retro feel which has since become her visual signature. Her current project ‘The Inking’ celebrates tattoo artistry – using a tattoo gun modified to sketch on paper, she has created 6 new originals.

She is heavily inspired by 70’s colour palettes, vintage advertisement prints, and other independent female artists such as Tracey Emin.
